- Prohibits any marketing or advertising of vapor products “in a manner that specifically appeals to children”
- Prohibit the manufacture or sale of a vapor product with a label or packaging that “attempts to confuse the vapor product with a toy or candy.”
- Requires state specific labeling
No Pending Legislation
- Bans sale of vapor products to minors
Thankfully Arizona’s legislature successfully passed a bill banning the sale of vapor products to minors. Their 2015 attempt to further regulate electronic cigarettes is more troubling however. Ultimately this bill would have done things like ban characterizing flavors and would introduce labeling requirements that would once again force manufacturers to adapt to a patchwork of local regulations across the country.
