- Prohibit the use of electronic cigarettes wherever smoking is banned
- Would have imposed a 30% tax on E-Cigarettes and smokeless tobacco
No Pending Legislation
- Bans use of vapor products in public places where smoking is currently banned
Delaware’s legislature has followed the blueprint of several states that have enacted a statewide vaping ban. While public usage bans are counter intuitive by ostracizing vapers in the same way as smokers the defeat of the proposed 30% tax is good news coming from the state. With no pending pieces of legislation during this session it seems Delaware may be waiting for federal action on electronic cigarette regulation.
